Fantastic experience: I studied at NZLC in New Zealand for 2 months and had a really great experience. I’m Italian and from the first day I felt very welcomed by both the teachers and the staff. The teachers are professional and patient, and the lessons are interesting and very helpful for improving English, especially speaking. The environment is very international and I met people from many different countries. I definitely recommend this school to anyone who wants to improve their English and have a great experience in New Zealand.

Negative experience: I have mixed feelings about NZLC.While I am truly grateful for the wonderful friends I met here, the overall atmosphere and service left much to be desired. In particular, the reception team often seems impatient, but the behavior of one specific Chinese-speaking staff member was truly disheartening—it felt like deliberate discrimination. I experienced two clear instances of this: First, during a film activity, I was in the hallway visibly searching for the room. He (the organizer) walked past me in total silence even though we made eye contact. I didn’t realize he was the staff member in charge at the time, yet he immediately and proactively approached a student right behind me to offer guidance. Hearing him help someone else while intentionally bypassing me made his role—and his choice to ignore me—very clear. Second, in the elevator in the morning the other day, there were only three of us. He warmly greeted the other student and offered to press the button for them, yet completely ignored my presence—no greeting, no eye contact—as if I were invisible, even though we were standing side by side. This kind of selective indifference is deeply unprofessional. If a staff member cannot show basic respect to every student regardless of their background, I doubt they can provide sincere service to anyone. I hope NZLC ensures all students are treated with equal respect.

Classes are interactive and engaging, not just focused on grammar but also on real communication and speaking. Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience studying English at NZLC (New Zealand Language Centres) for 66 weeks. During this time, I significantly improved my English skills, especially speaking, listening, and writing, thanks to the practical and dynamic teaching approach. The teachers are professional, patient, and very supportive, always willing to help students and explain concepts clearly. The classes are well organized and suitable for different levels, which helped me progress steadily and confidently. In addition, the school has a friendly and multicultural environment, which made it easy to practice English every day and meet people from many different countries. The administrative staff are also kind and helpful with any questions. Fantastic experience: I studied for 4 months with my girlfriend at NZLC last year. I had amazing experiences at this school and I really loved studying there. Unfortunately, I had to leave the country because of economic problems and unemployment, but the time I spent at this school was wonderful, and I will carry the memories and lessons I learned there for the rest of my life.

Fantastic experience: I’ve had such a positive experience at NZLC. The environment is supportive and the classes are dynamic, which has made learning English both enjoyable and effective. I’d especially like to mention some of the teachers who made a big difference in my learning journey: Claire – Her classes are never boring. The variety of conversations she creates really makes you think and analyse faster, which has helped me feel more confident and natural when speaking. Jonathan – He helped me build my basic grammar. Thanks to his explanations, I finally understood things that had always been confusing to me before. Rich and Quintin – My last teachers, who really helped me improve my writing, reading and speaking quickly. They encouraged me to stop doing things mechanically and instead focus on fluency, fewer mistakes, and faster progress. Overall, I can truly say this academy gave me not just knowledge, but also the confidence to use English in everyday life.

Fantastic experience: I came to NZLC to improve my English skills. From my experience, I can say that you will never regret choosing NZLC for your English journey. I was able to make many friends from different nationalities and meet excellent teachers who are highly skilled in teaching English. In particular, Clare and James are the best teachers I have ever met. When I mentioned parts in the textbook that I couldn’t understand, James always gave me the exact answers I needed. I also enjoyed the Thursday writing class, in which I was able to improve my writing skills. When I took Clare’s class, I always enjoyed it. In particular, I learned many new words that I didn’t know before, thanks to her. She also takes time to speak English with each student, so you don’t need to worry about whether you can improve your speaking skills or not. I highly recommend choosing NZLC.

Fantastic experience: I studied at NZLC almost a year.I've been very happy during this time,I met a lot of kind people. The staff here is very friendly and patient to help you solve the problem. There are very excellent and interesting teachers, especially Claire, in her class, I am always full of smiles, and I can learn a lot of knowledge. For example, when I hesitate whether some words are American English or British English. Don't worry, Claire will teach you. There is also teacher James E. He would give us a puzzle to think about and historical knowledge before class every day. When we encountered some new vocabulary, he would help us organize it and write the meaning on the whiteboard. After class, the school will also provide additional activities for you to participate in, such as badminton, football, etc. If you would like to learn English, I sincerely recommend you to choose this school.

Fantastic experience: I'm truly glad I chose this school. I started the course in Intermediate 1 with teachers Sonya and Gabriela, then moved on to Intermediate 2 where my teachers became Claire and James. I've made great progress thanks to the help of each of them. Not only is the quality of the teachers very good, but so is the support provided by the entire staff. If it helps, I think this school is a very good choice if you have the opportunity to try it.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy my classes with both teachers. Claire Romos from Lesson A makes learning English very fun. Her teaching style is creative and effective, which helps me improve my English quickly. James from Lesson B is also a great teacher. Positive experience: I got an amazing experience in this school. Teachers always pay attention to their students. James is a really good GRAMMAR teacher!! Claire is also a fascinating teacher. Her class was so much fun and very active that I’d never get bored and couldn’t feel asleep! Moreover, Justin always answers the questions and explains it clearly. Jonathan’s and Olivia’s class was fun too. We could learn a lots from Jamie and Glen in IELTS class as well. Thank you this school for motivating me a lot.

Positive experience: I did a 12 weeks course where I did some General English and IELTS preparations, and it was a really good experience. I met amazing people, and some of the teachers were a great support, especially Claire and Aniko. Whenever we had doubts about something, school related or not, they would find a way to help us solve the problems, showing that both of them are people that we can rely on.

Fantastic experience: Business English I studied in the Business English course. My teachers were Quentin and Jo. They each have their own teaching style. This course is suitable for people who want to learn how to use English in the workplace. It provides specific vocabulary for professional use and offers the opportunity to share work experiences with classmates from different countries, each with its own culture. I think it was a great opportunity to gain these experiences. We also practiced presenting projects, which required us to adapt all four skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It felt like real-life practice that will be very useful in both daily life and the future. General English I have also studied in the General English course. I like the teaching styles of both James and Claire. In James’s class, he always explains grammar in detail, and before starting the lesson, he usually asks students to guess some information about historical events that happened on that day. I think it’s a great way to start the day. As for Claire, she always gives us a lot of new vocabulary. She brings so much energy, and her class is always very fun.

Fantastic experience: I have been studying at NZLC for eight months, and choosing New Zealand and NZLC for my language study abroad was truly the best decision I made! The biggest strength of NZLC is the opportunity to learn English with classmates from so many different countries. I was able to make amazing international friends, exchange cultures, and make unforgettable memories! At first, I only registered because I wanted to learn English, but it turned into an unforgettable journey where I built countless memories, made friends from all over the world, studied with the best teachers, and experienced things I could never have imagined elsewhere. Positive experience: Pros: Good quality of class and teacher. A wide variety of lesson and activity. Plenty of opportunities and courses to obtain English qualifications. Clean and nicer. Easy access. Cons: Iam Japanese myself, but about 30% of my nationality is Japanese, so I need to make an effort to create an English environment myself. Overall review: The facility has a wonderful environment and cooperative staff, but because there are many Japanese people, it is easy to create a community, so care must be taken not to make it too closed off. I'm grateful for the experience here.

Fantastic experience: After completing my 12-week study period at NZLC, during which I spent wonderful and memorable days, I would like to share my impressions of this experience from both the academic and administrative sides. On the first day, we were warmly welcomed with a detailed orientation about everything related to student life. We were also given a tour of the institute and a city tour to get familiar with the surroundings. On the second day, classes officially began. New students were placed into their classrooms according to their level. I consider myself very lucky to have been taught by Alexandra, a truly amazing teacher who treats her students as if they were her own children. After several weeks, I moved to another class with Marianne, another wonderful teacher. Her explanations were simple yet unique, and her cheerful personality brought joy into the classroom. The teaching system across classes is quite similar, with the main difference being the teaching style of each teacher. As for the student services department, they did an excellent job supporting students with any issues and providing activities and recreational trips that enriched the overall experience. I cannot finish without mentioning a very special person who stood out from the rest – someone who works with extraordinary dedication and sincerity. That person is Soo. It is difficult to describe her in words; she is truly a legend. In conclusion, this was a wonderful and enriching experience in every aspect. I am deeply grateful to all my teachers, especially Alexandra and Marianne.

Fantastic experience: I have stayed here for just 4 weeks, and it’s been really good. This school is different from many others. I met a lot of people from different nationalities. The classes are great — we have grammar lessons and fun activity classes. We can enjoy learning English. The teachers and staff are kind and funny. In addition, the location is amazing. I can walk to the supermarket in just 3 minutes. After school, we can enjoy shopping and relaxing at the nearby cafés. Totally fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I recommend this school. First, my Lesson A teacher is James. He is a very responsible Kiwi. Every time he teaches a writing class, we learn a lot. My Lesson B teacher is Claire. She always makes the class fun and teaches us a lot of knowledge, not just from the book. Another teacher I really like is my first teacher, Jo. She is a Kiwi and has an excellent teaching style as well. Also, Jazmin, who works at the front desk, is really helpful. The teachers here have different teaching styles and levels. If you feel that a particular class isn’t suitable or effective for you, it’s easy to switch to another one.

Fantastic experience: I studied English at NZLC Auckland for 10 months and was very satisfied with my experience. The teachers are excellent—clear, patient, and always approachable. I’m especially grateful to Claire, Richard, James, Rider, and Jonathan, who helped me improve English from basic grammar and speaking to IELTS preparation. I am particularly thankful to Claire for her support. She understands different cultures and creates a comfortable environment for all students. Her lessons were lively and practical, giving us many opportunities to use English. I lacked confidence in speaking at first, but her encouraging and constructive feedback helped me improve speaking with more confidence. The Student Support team was also very friendly and supportive. I’m especially thankful to Mai, who supported me with flatting issues and future plans. NZLC also has a friendly, international atmosphere, where you can easily make friends and naturally improve your communication skills. Fantastic experience: Starting my abroad journey with NZLC was the best choice ever, as I couldn’t imagine I would be surrounded by such a supportive and friendly environment. My 48-week programme not only improved my English skills and helped me achieve IELTS, but also gave me an opportunity to build friendships with students from many different countries. Fantastic experience: I studied at NZLC Auckland campus from May 18, 2024 to May 10, 2025, taking part in various courses. I enrolled to improve my speaking, writing, listening, and reading skills in English and to become more natural in using the language. Among all the courses I took, I especially enjoyed the Cambridge Course the most. It helped me build a lot of confidence in English, and that confidence gave me even more motivation. As a result, studying English became much more fun and rewarding. One thing, I really appreciated was the Student Services team. The staff are very kind and supportive, and they always try to help students actively. Since the staff members come from different nationalities, if you're struggling to explain something in English, they may be able to help you in your language, which is a big plus. And also there are many different national students as well. I highly recommend you to come, enjoy and study at NZLC Auckland Campus.

Fantastic experience: I studied a variety of courses at this school including IELTS, Cambridge, Business and General English. General English taught me everyday vocabulary while IELTS and Cambridge courses gave me useful exam tips. The Business English course included several workshops. Each course has its own advantages, and it’s easy to change your course. Therefore, feel free to talk to school staff, who are very friendly and kind, about your course planning.

Fantastic experience: I attended this school for three months! Since it’s located in the center of Auckland, it was very convenient to commute. The classes follow a three-month term system. There are two tests during the term, and the final test determines whether you can move up to the next level. The morning classes run from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM, followed by optional activities. I got to go strawberry picking, play sports, join a kayaking trip, and visit various places! Personally, I found the balance between study and fun just right. The staff members are all friendly, making it easy to ask for help when needed. (Especially for those who aren’t confident in English, having staff who speak your native language can be very reassuring.)

Fantastic experience: I don’t have a good foundation in English. So I can’t complete the survey on my own, but I can talk about my feedback on the school’s graduation. I like my main course teachers and substitute teachers. They are always serious and patient, and often change their teaching methods.with the aim of enabling students to absorb more and better knowledge. My English has also improved a lot. Thank you to my dear teachers for their efforts . A few teachers at the front desk and teacher who led us to the strawberry farm. The teacher who led us to the museum.and the teacher who led us to the zoo. It’s all very cute. First of all, the friendly teachers and well-structured curriculum really helped me figure out the right English study direction, since it was my first time studying abroad. The staff, who were always ready to answer my questions(especially Soo), were also a huge help. I had a great experience talking with friends from all over the world, not just a few countries, and I could really feel my English improving.
