Positive experience: Perfect place for free English courses. It would help if you came early to sign in, there is a queue to put your name on a paper before a class. But sometimes, an Asian lady posts a list that is already half-filled, and it is impossible to visit the classes even if you come three hours early.

Fantastic experience: I'm from Japan and came to here with co-worker. It was first time for me to learn English at school like this. I had been for two months from Feb. to Mar. 2024. English skills are poor and always anxious because of it, but no worries about anything. Assistant who relates to your country or area stay to explain about school systems on one day or more per week. Every teacher is very fun and makes class more enjoyable. I had enjoyed a good time well and can recommend to others this confidently in Auckland, but the only concern for me is that some teachers have a short period in school.

Negative experience: 1-Very bad experience 2-You cannot get your money back 3-The price is overrated 4-Teachers are not good and you can't change them 5-The building is old and there is no air conditioning or smart board 6-Housing options are very poor. Family housing is one hour to school 7-School tourism activities are very expensive

Fantastic experience: People who are taking exams are usually full of anxiety, but this place had an amazing people and coach who makes who feel relax and comfortable. If you 're looking for a place to book your English exam, I am recommending this place 100% for convenience and professionalism with good conduct.

Negative experience: Mein erster Eindruck von der Schule war Wow. Nette Lage, toller Park, schönes Gebäude. Wird schon cool werden. Die Ernüchterung kam bereits nach mehr als einer Woche. Die mir zugeteilten Lehrer waren entweder wenig motiviert bzw. bestrebt ihr Ding durchzuziehen. Von einem Gemeinsam und/oder dem Beibringen der Sprache durch gemeinsames Sprechen und Korrigieren war nichts zu merken. Es wurden hauptsächlich Grammatik und Vokabeln gepaukt, ohne dabei auf das Anwenden zu achten. Die Motivation in der Klasse war daher auch dementsprechend. In Gesprächen mit verschiedenen Mitschülern wurden Äußerungen wie "S/He is boring." getätigt. Auch Gespräche mit der Schulleitung waren erfolglos. Es wurde mir dazu lediglich mitgeteilt, dass ich, wenn es Probleme mit den Lehrern gibt, ich diese direkt ansprechen soll und zu den Klassen, dass diese alle voll sind und es keine anderen Plätze mehr gibt. Auf Nachfrage, ob ein Wechsel in eine höhere Klasse möglich ist, da man sich unterfordert fühlt, wird ebenfalls mit den vollen Klassen und dem Argument, dass dies nicht das entsprechende Level sei, vertröstet. Jede Woche kommen jedoch neue Studenten an und werden entsprechend eines minimalistischen Einstufungstests auf die Klassen verteilt; da fragt man sich doch nach der Organisation. Absolute Beginner werden mit Intermediate/IM+ in eine Klasse gesteckt. Eine Lernstandskontrolle findet alle 6 Wochen statt, dies ist definitiv unzureichend. Um Fortschritte festzustellen, ist eine Testung von 3-4 Wochen effektiv. Ein Wechsel in höhere Klassen ist somit so gut wie unmöglich. Dass es auch anders geht, sieht man insbesondere in den Advanced-Klassen, in denen die Lehrer motiviert sind und in engen Gesprächen, auch in den Pausen, mit den Studenten diskutieren und Anregungen/ Korrekturen geben. Auch von den auf der Website angepriesenen "after school Social Programme" fanden in dem Zeitraum von meinen 6 Wochen lediglich am ersten Freitag ein touch rugby learning und ein Run durch die Stadt statt. Von außerschulischer Unterhaltung wird seitens LI nichts angeboten. Auf den extern gebuchten Touren kam ich ins Gespräch mit Studenten anderer Sprachschulen und diese meinten, dass bei ihnen in der Regel jeden Tag (außer)schulische Aktivitäten angeboten werden, mindestens alle 2 Wochen auch ein größeres Event. Ebenso finden regelmäßige Lernstandserhebungen sowie Gespräche statt, mit deren Ergebnissen Entwicklungsmöglichkeiten für einen höheren Abschluss gegeben sind. Meine Fazit für diese Schule ist: Lasst, wenn ihr Englisch lernen wollt, die Finger von dieser Schule. Hier gebt ihr eurer gutes Geld in falsche Hände. Die Schule ist definitiv für eine Erwachsenenbildung (30+) ungeeignet, da sie eher den Anspruch an einen Anschluss an eine schulische Ausbildung erfüllt.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend doing the CELTA teachers training course at Languages International, Lizzie and Nick were great teachers and very experienced.

Negative experience: The team is friendly, location is nice and the students are amazing, but the education is substandard, I had to change school after two weeks. It may be because of the pandemic, I don't know but it wasn't a successful experiment.

I wanna came back again :( من اجمل التجارب ولا ندمت ابداً اني اخترت هذا المعهد ♥️ المكان جداً مميز و مريح بسبب انه في وسط الستي بس بعيداً عن الازعاج لانه في وسط حديقة كل الموظفين بالمعهد مره لطيفين و مره متعاونين مع المسلمين و حبيت هذا الشي جداً الطاقم التدريسي مره كويس و طرقهم بالتعليم ممتعة المعهد يدعم التعليم الذاتي بقوه من خلال مركز التعلم الي ممكن تلقى كل شي يفيدك هناك .. و كل هذا ما يحسبونه مع ساعاتك يعني تقدر تجلس فيه كثر ما تبغى و في تشيرز يساعدونك لو احتجت اي مساعده او شرح الخ .. المعهد معترف فيه من الملحقيه السعودية و مصنف فئه A .. -ولو اي شخص حاب يستفسر مني بأي شي يخص هذا المعهد يوزري نفسه بالانستا و راح اكون بالخدمه

Fantastic experience: This school is nearly perfect! …and I know as well other schools in New Zealand. The teachers are all friendly, professional and focused on their work. The location: The school accommodated in 4 historical buildings in a vast park in the center of Auckland. The campus is a part of Albert Park. A very nice and clean park with a lot of relaxing possibilities during lunch time. The breakroom inside the building is as well big enough for all students. The lessons are all well structured. The best part of this school is, in my opinion, the learning center…here you have access to ca. 20 PCs and an excellent library with a tremendous range of books and learning materials designed for each English level. And if you have questions, as well during your free time, that means after your lessons, you can ask one of the teachers who are on duty in the learning center.

Fantastic experience: I attended Languages International for my CELTA certificate and had a great time! The tutors are efficient and professional; you will be guaranteed quality learning during every minute of class. They also provide a great balance of criticality and compassion during this intensely academic month. The location of Languages International is in a great, relaxing spot of Auckland City (what a bonus). The high level of support from the tutors also extends to the English language learners. My experience with these students was positive: they are friendly, enthusiastic and considerate of one another. It is clear that Languages International is a positive learning environment for CELTA candidates and English learners alike. I would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: School offers uncountable resourses for students learning or/and improvement to your English language. There are students from all parts of the world, mainly Asians. I really recommend for both general english and IELTS courses. Escola bem estruturada e com todos os recursos que você precisa para estudar, seja o inglês geral ou IELTS test. Recomendo.
