Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend this academy enough! The teacher is Spanish and has two degrees in Primary and Early Childhood Education, which really shows in the way she teaches. She also spent three years in Ireland, so she understands both languages and cultures perfectly. She is awesome — her classes are dynamic, engaging, and very well organized. She explains things clearly and always makes sure everyone feels comfortable participating. Even though Spanish can be challenging, she makes learning it enjoyable and motivating.

The teacher is Spanish, and she spent three years in Ireland, so her English is excellent and she really understands what it’s like to learn another language. Her classes are full of energy and positive vibes, but at the same time they are very professional and well structured. She explains everything clearly and makes even difficult topics feel easier. You can tell she truly cares about her students’ progress. I highly recommend this academy!

Fantastic experience: Always wanted to learn Spanish and live in a spanish speaking country for a while. Still learning. It takes a lot of time for me to acquire a new language but I do a lot of self study too, like reading books, watching videos, listening to music. It is good to attend a school when you can be among other people who learn the same language.

Positive experience: One of the few organisations in Auckland to teach Spanish. Handy location in Queen Street, close to public transport and parking, modern class rooms, nice teachers.

Fantastic experience: Classes at the Spanish institute are friendly, move at a good pace for beginners, and students are given delicious desserts (at least that has been my experience in the late night classes :) I use duo lingo but I'm learning a lot of things that you just can't learn in an app/ building confidence to speak more conversionary.

I've found if you supplement the classes with Duolingo you'll get even more out of it and learn even faster because you can get the chance to speak to real people and apply what you learn!

The classes are small (approx. 5 people per class) and structured well to personal needs. Teachers and staff are friendly and supportive and often provide yummy Spanish treats! The owners were very nice to deal with and had a good environment in general. Most of my students continued for more than one term. Very convenient as they have many languages in their portfolio!

Fantastic experience: It used to be my dream to learn Spanish so I am happy that recently I have had a chance to realise my ambition. I am currently learning Spanish at the Spanish Institue Language School and I can say that I am really enjoying my studies. The teachers are very enthusiastic about their subject, so the students are never bored and eager to proceed with learning more. As for the staff, they are also very friendly and kind and can answer any question that may arise.
